The Controlled Release Society (CRS) is a leading global organisation uniting scientists, researchers, and professionals in the fields of controlled release and advanced drug delivery. Founded in 1978, the Society brings together more than 2,000 members from every continent.

CRS advances science and technology in pharmaceutical formulation, biomaterials, and nanotechnology through annual landmark conferences, peer-reviewed scientific journals, and worldwide support for early-career researchers.

The CRS Poland Local Chapter operates within this global network, connecting the Polish academic and industrial communities with the latest advances in science worldwide.

Who We Are

Our Mission

The mission of the Controlled Release Society Local Chapter in Poland is to promote education and disseminate knowledge on advanced drug delivery systems. The Society brings together representatives of academia, the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, as well as related scientific disciplines, creating a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and scientific development.

We aim to raise awareness of the importance of research and development in pharmaceutical formulation and drug delivery technologies, while actively supporting early-career researchers. Through the organisation of scientific events, educational initiatives, and networking activities, we foster the integration of the scientific and industrial communities in Poland and promote collaboration at the international level.
